AGAIN!
went to the animal pen this morning, and to my horror... this was what i saw....
one of the cages was totally dismantled. So naturally, the rabbit made a run for it. and it was the same rabbit which ran away last time (the horny, humping rabbit). Unni gave away one of the fluffy brown ones and so we managed to put one of the 2 rabbits which had previously shared a cage, in a cage of its own. just one day in its new cage and it manages to run away.
it's virtually impossible that a rabbit in a cage can tear it into 3 pieces. i bet the goats have something to do with it. damn goats, must be trying to get back at me for giving them very diluted milk the night before (coz there wasn't enough milk in the house).
now that the cage was empty, i decided to clean it out. take out all the bedding....
BADDD choice. coz i ended up doing all the rest of the cages. and i think it had not been changed in a month. and my god did it STINK like HELL! i took a wheel barrow to contain all the dirty bedding, and i had to get new grass, put the rabbits in other cages while i cleaned their cage. It stank, the rabbits were not entirely the most cooperative (one of them tore the rubber gloves i was wearing... well at least i didn't lose any), it was tiresome work. and it took a damn long time lah.
see that's why it's better to stick to cleaning toilets...
